Big Mac fans may be wondering if McDonald’s will be open as normal over Easter.
Good Friday falls on April 3, Easter Sunday is on April 5 and Easter Monday is on April 6. If you’re planning a Maccies trip on these dates – you’re in luck.
The majority of McDonald’s appear to be open as normal this weekend, according to the restaurants we checked online today.
You may find the odd branch does decide to close or shorten its opening hours at some point this weekend, so double check your local restaurant to avoid disappointment.

But to give you a rough idea of when Maccies is typically open we checked opening times in several different UK towns.
For example, the McDonald’s in Leicester Square, London, is open from 5am until 2.45am every day, including bank holiday Monday.
McDonald’s in Burgess Hill, West Sussex, is open from 7am until 11pm every day. McDonald’s in Liverpool Lord Street and Cardiff Newport Road are both open 24 hours including on bank holidays.
It comes after McDonald’s unveiled its cards meal promotion. There are 24 cards in total, split into four categories: Character, Fan, Retro and finally Legendary Cards which are holographic.
Every pack of cards guarantees one Character Card that unlocks a free food item. There are six Character Cards in total, each linked to a menu favourite.
Fry Girl gives you free Fries, while Hamburglar gets you a free Hamburger, Cheeseburger or Mayo Chicken.
McNugget Buddies gives you free six Chicken McNuggets and Phil A. O’Fish will get you a free Filet-O-Fish or four Chicken McNuggets.
Finally, Grimace will unlock a free Medium Soft Drink or Medium Milkshake and Birdie gets you a free McMuffin.
There are then six collect to win prize categories, giving customers even more chances to win extra prizes. Players are encouraged to enter the code on the back of each card into the McDonald’s app.
Character Cards have a second code, where customers can redeem their free food item in restaurant, drive thru or via McDonald’s app.
The rarest card is the gold Ronald Card. There are only 10 in existence, and each one wins the lucky cardholder £10,000 – making it the ultimate find in the pack.
