A murder inquiry launched after Ms Narbutaite’s body was found remains ongoing reports Nottinghamshire Live.
Officers had sealed off a bungalow at the Longbow Residential Park as part of their investigation. Donatas Noreika, of Main Street, Milton, and Arturas Karvelis, of Broad Street, Parkgate, Rotherham – who is also known within the community as Arturas Bockus – have been charged with conspiring to prevent the lawful and decent burial of a body.
Noreika, aged 37, and Karvelis, aged 45, have been remanded in custody and are scheduled to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on April 20.
A 64 year old man and 60 year old woman who were also arrested have been released without charge.
Nottinghamshire Police confirmed they were referring the case to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC), the police watchdog, due to previous contact with Ms Narbutaite. Detective Inspector Matt Scott stated: “Our thoughts remain with Orinta’s family and friends, who have asked for privacy at what must be an extremely difficult time.
“We are aware of speculation online following unverified information being shared. As the investigation progresses, please refer to updates issued on behalf of the force.”
