Amazon’s Spring Deal Days sale is in full swing, and, as shopping experts, we’ve spotted one particularly popular offer that’s flying off the shelves amongst hair and beauty fans. With the shopping event running until March 16, shoppers have a limited time to snap up the Remington Ionic Hair Dryer in a reduced bundle alongside the brand’s Intelligent Ceramic Straighteners for £64.94 – a massive 66% off its recommended retail price of £189.98.
As stated by Amazon, the ‘powerful’ dryer in the bundle boasts an advanced ceramic-coated grille, which is infused with keratin and almond oil for a healthy-looking, sleek salon-quality blow-dry. It also features ionic conditioning with 90 per cent more ions for frizz-free shine – compared to the standard Remington hair dryer – and a powerful 2,200W long-life AC motor, which comes with three heat settings and two speed settings.
To help set the hairstyle, the dryer is also equipped with a cold shot function to lock it in. Plus, it comes with two concentrators (super slim and fast-drying), as well as a diffuser for drying curls, ensuring all hair types and styles are catered for.
Meanwhile, the straighteners, hailed as ‘amazing’ by shoppers, boast a digital temperature display offering five settings between 160-230 Celsius, a rapid 15-second heat-up period and an automatic safety shut-off feature. Amazon isn’t the only shopping giant offering some substantial discounts this week – Boots has slashed the cost of the TRESemme Keratin Smooth and Styler Straightener by half price – now £40, reduced from £80 – as part of its Spring Season Savings sale promotion.

Meanwhile, Dyson has knocked £100 of its Dyson AirstraitTM dryer and straightener (Ceramic Pink/Rose Gold), making it now £349.99 from £449.99.
The Dyson Airstrait differs from regular straighteners as it straightens hair from wet to dry using air – ie, no hot plates – thus negating the need for a hair dryer. The brand claims this offers ‘no heat damage’ to hair.
The Remington bundle, however, has been a hit with beauty fans and has scored a solid 4.7 out of 5 stars on Amazon. One five-star reviewer penned: “My previous appliances were so old. I was hesitant on new straighteners as I am quite fussy with them and wanted ones much like my previous ones.
“But I was not disappointed with this set. The hairdryer is powerful, and the straighteners are amazing. I love that they beep when they have reached the temperature. Would recommend.”
One customer did suggest the straighteners weren’t as effective as their former GHDs, noting: “Gets hot but nowhere near as good as my GHD straighteners. If you have fine hair, they’re okay, but not if you have thick hair.”
That being said, another buyer was pleased with the set and commented: “I bought the set of hair dryer and straighteners as I needed something for both my daughter and me.
