Savers has recalled two of Rihanna’s perfumes over fears they contain toxic chemicals.
The budget chain said certain batches of Kiss and Riri by Rihanna were found to contain hydroxyisohexyl 3-cyclohexene carboxaldehyde and butylphenyl methylpropional, known by the trade names Lyral and Lilial.
Lyral was banned due to a high number of allergic reactions, while Lilial was no longer allowed due to concerns it could affect women’s reproductive system, as well as unborn babies.
The affected batch codes are 0608940572252 for Kiss by Rihanna and 0608940560389 for Riri by Rihanna. Both are 15ml bottles. If you’ve purchased one of these perfumes, you should return it to your nearest Savers for a full refund.

In a recall notice on the Savers website, the retailer said: “Savers have today (3rd March 2026) issued a recall of the above fragrance lines as some have been found to contain ingredients – hydroxyisohexyl 3-cyclohexene carboxaldehyde and butylphenyl methylpropional which are prohibited from sale in the UK.
“Customers should return any of the above products purchased at a Savers store to the place of purchase, where they will be issued a full refund.”
It continued: “If you are unsure if you have one of the above products, please speak to our store teams who will be happy to help. Savers would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
