A significant police presence has been reported at a school in Sheffield, with parents at the scene claiming two teachers have been taken to hospital.
Officers from South Yorkshire Police were seen at Fir Vale Academy on Owen Lane shortly before 1.20pm today.
A post shared by local Facebook page Sheffield Online included an image appearing to show a police officer in the street. The page stated the “situation appears to be contained” and warned motorists of temporary disruption on nearby roads.
The nature of the incident has not yet been confirmed.
