The Mirror found a string of eye-wateringly priced trinkets while browsing Daylesford Organic in the Cotswolds a favoured shopping destination for the rich and famous
Welcome to Britain’s poshest farm shop – where £5000 necklaces are on sale alongside fruit and veg.
I found a string of eye-wateringly priced trinkets while browsing Daylesford Organic in the Cotswolds. The store is the go-to grocery spot for A-Listers like Simon Cowell and Kate Moss. But it appears prices at the destination – known for its fancy meat and veg – have got a bit out of hand.
A boutique connected to the food hall has a selection of wildly expensive jewellery on display, with one pendant fetching £4,950. The locked cabinet also features a stone charm for £4,050 and another for £3,240. For shoppers on a budget, smaller jewels start at £1,650.

A frustrated resident from a nearby village told me: “It’s ludicrous – Daylesford started as a simple farm shop selling good quality eggs, bread and milk. Selling extortionate jewellery makes it less accessible and means the prices of everyday items will likely keep going up. I can’t imagine who is buying this stuff.”
On my peruse around Daylesford, near Chipping Norton, I spotted a string of other pricey items. A bottle of 36-year-old Scotch whisky will set you back £920, while an extra large bottle of Taittinger Brut champagne comes in at £2000.
The store also supports celebrity-owned businesses – stocking Brooklyn Beckham’s £16.50 hot sauce Cloud 23 and the Princess of Wales’ brother James’ £25 James and Ella dog grub.
David and Victoria Beckham, currently embroiled in a bitter feud with son Brooklyn, 26, live around miles away in the village of Great Tew. Last summer, photos shared on social media showed US Vice President JD Vance’s security convoy making a stop at Daylesford.
Other regulars include US talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, 68 and TopGear star Jeremy Clarkson, 65. We previously revealed how superstar singer Beyonce, 44, and husband Jay-Z, 56, are in the process of buying a plot of land to build a mega mansion in the nearby village of Wigginton.
The couple reportedly visited the land by helicopter last summer during the English leg of her Cowboy Carter World Tour. Architectural plans obtained exclusively by the Mirror describe the home as a “spectacular rural estate” offering “seamless indoor-outdoor living, combining timeless materials with contemporary architecture.”
The document continues: “Designed to integrate with the natural landscape, the property offers a striking architectural statement, blending contemporary style with sustainable practices.” Private members club Soho Farmhouse, which hosted the Duchess of Sussex’s hen do, is close by.
Daylesford Organic has been approached for comment by the Mirror.
