Health and beauty retailer Boots has slashed the prices on their Christmas gift sets including perfumes and beauty bundles – and customers can make up to 90% savings on the items
A bargain hunter is celebrating after saving more than £1,500 in a 90% off sale at Boots.
The health and beauty retailer has been running its Big Boots sale, dropping the prices of Christmas gift sets by up to 90%. The promotion covers everything from perfumes to beauty bundles. It also includes big name brands such as Soap & Glory, Yankee Candle and Ted Baker.
Sharing her delight on social media, the shopper posted a screenshot of her receipt. She proudly wrote: “Boots 90% sale – saving over £1,500. This is for family birthdays.”
One receipt revealed that she saved a whopping £718.54 – handing over just £83.45 at the till. A second showed savings of £345.60, with only £44.10 spent. And a third indicated £430.20 had been slashed from the total, meaning the customer paid just £38.30.
Altogether, the savvy shopper managed to secure more than £1,500 worth of products for a fraction of the original price.
Her haul included luxury candles reduced from £15 to just £1.50, £12.50 hand care gift sets scanning at £1.25 and £4.50 lip balms for just 45p.
She also snapped up £6.50 room mists for 65p, £24 gift sets for £2.40 and even premium £50 L’Oréal gift sets for a fiver.
Images shared alongside the post show piles of colourful gift sets, games and everyday essentials stacked high across her sofa. They are now ready to be tucked away for upcoming birthdays and celebrations.
Social media users were quick to praise her bargain-spotting skills. One person commented: “Wow, that’s amazing. Well done.” Another wrote: “Excellent haul.” Meanwhile, a third added: “Wow. Amazing savings.”
Boots has reduced the price of a beauty gift set all the way down to just £5 in a new exclusive online deal.
The bundle includes four products by a designer brand that many people across the UK will be familiar with – Ted Baker.
On the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group, a user shared information about the discounts on the Ted Baker Minis Discovery Collection. It was originally on sale for £14 but has since been reduced to £5.
