Maura Higgins has given fans a glimpse into her skincare secrets, and they includes some ultra affordable collagen face masks that ‘plump and refresh’ skin in just a few hours
Fresh off her stint on the US version of The Traitors, Maura Higgins has been letting her fanbase in on some secrets of her own; namely, how she gets her skin looking so radiant. The former Love Island star was asked what her favourite skincare is right now, and Maura gave a list that included the Biodance Bio Collagen-Real Deep Mask which she happened to be wearing in the accompanying photo.
Priced at £14.90 for a pack of four, the masks work out at just £3.72 per mask, making them an ultra-affordable way of getting some celeb-approved skincare at home. Packed with skin-plumping moisture, the masks have been praised for their “glass skin” effect.

The masks are a great alternative to pricier options, like 111Skin’s Y Theorem Bio Cellulose Facial Mask which costs £105 for five masks, working out at £21 per mask and £17 more expensive than the Biodance Masks. Another more affordable alternative is the L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Glass Skin Hydrogel Glow Mask which was inspired by Korean beauty face masks.
It usually costs £4.99 per mask, although currently Boots has slashed that to £3.74 thanks to a limited time 25% off discount on selected L’Oreal skincare. This mask is perfect if you don’t have the time to spend hours wearing your sheet mask, as it takes just 90 minutes to work its magic.
However, you’ll no doubt have seen influencers and beauty experts wearing the Biodance Bio Collagen-Real Deep Masks on social media showing how they turn see through after wearing them for several hours. The masks are made from serum-saturated gel, which turn into a transparent sheet mask during wear, and most people swear by wearing them overnight for the best results.
However if the thought of trying to sleep with one on gives you chills, Biodance says it just needs to be worn for at least three to four hours (but overnight is better). The masks plump up your skin thanks to its high concentration of low-molecular oligo hyaluronic acid, which softens, smooths and moisturises your skin.
The Biodance Bio Collagen-Real Deep Masks also contain low molecular collagen, which minimises the appearance of fine lines and enlarged pores. This also boosts your skin’s elasticity and suppleness almost immediately after wearing it for a fuller, more lifted look.
However, Maura’s Biodance Bio Collagen-Real Deep Masks has been praised by shoppers as being “the best” at getting the coveted glass skin look. On said: “The best face masks ever for glass skin, really plump and smooth after use, wouldn’t use any other brand.”
Another wrote: “Incredible mask – wear over night and allows skin to look almost glass-like. Extremely hydrating and really easy to apply.”
Whilst a third said: “Let me tell you about this mask! It’s just absolutely amazing! You do have to keep it on for around 4.5 hours until it turns clear but after removing it’s so worth it. Super smooth hydrated glass skin! Yes please!”
A couple of shoppers were less impressed, with one saying: “Masks are ok, but not as good as the hype around them.”
Whilst a second cautioned: “These masks do leave my face glowing however I do feel that every time I have used these my face has broke out in tiny pimples. Not sure if that’s a common effect?”
But plenty more reviews raved about the Biodance Bio Collagen-Real Deep Masks , with one saying: “Love using this on an evening, it makes me have glass skin! I can feel the difference just by using once a week. Skin is more hydrated [and] glowy.”
