A major motorway is closed due to a piece of ‘broken down machinery’ on the carriageway causing causing delays during peak travel-time.
The M62 Huddersfield is shut within junction 24 on the morning of Tuesday, January, 20.
The road is closed following overnight roadworks as a machinery vehicle has broken down and the road will remain closed until recovery is completed.
Traffic is being diverted via the exit and entry slip roads. Delays are building on approach to the incident.
