Home Bargains is selling a ‘sophisticated’ furniture set that not only arguably looks ‘near identical’ to a version at Next but also costs a fraction of the price. The budget superstore is popular among millions of people up and down the country for selling almost anything you could need, all under one roof, at affordable prices.
The retailer is known for regularly updating its aisles with items that appear more expensive than they actually are or could easily be mistaken for a more expensive brand. It’s what makes Home Bargains such a favourable pick for many homeowners looking to decorate their home with ‘luxury’ items on a budget.
As part of its latest 2026 furniture lineup, Home Bargains is selling a Set of Two Round Tables from its own Home Collections range. The ‘sleek’ nesting tables are described as ‘perfect for maximising space’ for cost £24.99.
The tables feature an oval design, with light grey oak-like tops made from MDF and black industrial steel legs. Home Bargains says the ‘stylish’ set of two side tables ‘adds a contemporary touch’ to any room, while ‘effortlessly’ sliding together when not in use for a ‘clutter-free home’.
The £25 Home Bargains side tables could be a ‘savvy’ alternative for anyone who likes the look of Next’s Grey Bronx Oak Effect Round Set of Two Nest of Tables, but isn’t keen on paying the £150 price tag. Both versions look ‘almost identical’, but opting for Home Bargains’ version means shoppers can save £125.

Meanwhile, on Next’s website, the description of the store’s £150 circular set states: “Offering practicality and style to your living space, our Bronx light oak effect round set of two tables is the perfect addition for optimising space. Although the two furniture sets appear similar, there are a few notable differences, including size and material. The size of Home Bargains’ two tables are 30 x 58cm (small) and 40 x 47cm (large), and Next’s are 47 x 30cm (small), and 58 x 40cm (large). The £25 Home Bargains set is made out of MDF and steel, while Next’s is a wood composite or veneer, and metal.
