A lorry is engulfed in flames, bringing a stretch of motorway to a standstill.
Traffic has been stopped on the M1 southbound between Northampton and Milton Keynes. Three of four lanes remain closed between junction 15 (Northampton) and junction 14 (Milton Keynes).
There is around a one-hour delay and six miles of congestion on approach, according to National Highways East.
