Multiple postcodes were hit by a water outage, with customers reporting little to no water pressure as taps ran dry across the East Sussex seaside town on Christmas Day
Several households woke to Christmas Day chaos after a burst water main left homes without running water.
Southern Water said around 100 customers reported either low pressure or a complete loss of supply, with affected postcodes including TN34, TN35, TN37 and TN38. The firm said it had set up a bottled water station and delivered supplies directly to those who needed them.
