Medik8 has launched its festive sale with up to 40% off selected products
For skincare enthusiasts who swear by the popular brand Medik8, Christmas has arrived early with the launch of its festive sale featuring a range of discounts on some of its anti-ageing best-sellers. Whether you’re running low on serums, creams or masks, the brand has cut prices by up to 40% on selected products – including its Clarity PeptidesTM 10% Niacinamide-Infused Peptide Serum, which boasts an impressive 4.9 star rating.
Available from 22 December to 5 January, the 10% Niacinamide-Infused Peptide Serum usually retails at £45 but is now just £27 for its 30ml bottle. Promising clearer, smoother and more hydrated skin, the serum claims to boost the skin’s natural glow whilst managing oil production and bacteria, which will help diminish the appearance of blemishes and congestion.
Moreover, those plagued with redness can benefit from its ‘soothing’ properties that improve the look of dark spots. It’s worth noting that this particular product is flagged as ‘being discontinued soon’, so fans who want to stock up at this price need to move quickly.
The serum is formulated with 10% niacinamide (also known as vitamin B3, renowned for its anti-inflammatory properties), along with hydrating Hyaluronic Acid and Zinc PCA, which regulates oil production, supports the skin’s natural healing process and reduces the appearance of inflammation.
The star component of the product, as suggested by its name, is Crystalide* Peptide. This ingredient promotes skin cell renewal and enhances the effects of α-crystallin, a protein known for promoting a more radiant complexion, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Shoppers can bag up to 40% off selected Medik8 items until January 5, including the Clarity Peptides serum, which is now £27 from £45.
The serum has won over many fans with its fragrance-free, paraben-free, alcohol-free and vegan-friendly formula. It boasts an impressive 4.9-star rating, with one user gushing: “This is “the skincare”! I’ve been using only very expensive luxury skincare brands for many years. I changed to Medik8 about 6 months ago and I’ve never seen results like this. Fine lines have definitely disappeared. Highly recommend this skincare line.”
Another fan shared: “A game-changer for my skin. Medik8 Clarity Peptides has genuinely transformed my skin. I had been using Vitamin C in the morning and Vitamin A in the evening, and although they helped, something still felt missing.
“Clarity Peptides completed my routine and cleared my skin problems, evening out my tone and making everything look so much healthier. This product is amazing, and I’ll definitely miss it!”
A third user chimed in: “Best wrinkle solution. Gives my skin an even tone, wrinkles become smaller. Skin is hydrated.”
However, not everyone was as impressed. One three-star reviewer admitted they saw little difference, stating: “I like the packaging, it’s easy to travel with it. Nice texture but I don’t feel any groundbreaking improvement.”
The beauty industry is teeming with serums whose claims results in smoother, hydrated and even skin, if this particular products isn’t quite right. For example, Trinny London’s Peptide⁺ HA Serum Plump Up, £72, is a ‘sellout’ formula that visibly firms and lifts and contains advanced peptides to help promote collagen and elastin production.
Elsewhere, the Anti-Aging Antioxidant Serum from Paula’s Choice is on sale for £38.25 from £45 and leaves skin soft, hydrated and more youthful. Plus its appropriate for those with sensitive skin.
For those new to this specific product, the brand advises conducting a patch test 24 hours before first use to prevent irritation. If all goes well, the serum should be applied after cleansing in the morning and evening, spreading evenly across the face, neck and décolletage.
This serum isn’t the only item featured in the Medik8 sale, with its H. E. O. ® Mask duo also reduced from £60 to £42.
The set includes two products – step 1 and step 2 – with the treatment mask focusing on ‘three key pillars of moisturisation – humectants, emollients and occlusives (H, E and O)’. According to the brand, it’s been expertly formulated to ‘dramatically improve the appearance of dryness, dullness, fine lines and wrinkles while you sleep’.
Boasting barrier protection, 72 hours of moisture retention after application, and noticeable overnight improvements, customers rave about these products as being a “godsend for dry skin”, with one beauty enthusiast adding: “Literally a life saver! The combo are magic and the boost of hydration is unreal. I decided to give this a go after having a bad episode of rosacea which left my skin very dry and crusty. Using this helped so much and now my skin is super smooth.” Though some users did find it slightly too ‘drying’ – so bear that in mind.
Beauty enthusiasts seeking an alternative enhancement to their evening regimen can also snap up the Intelligent Retinol® Smoothing Night Cream for £18 less. Now priced at £42 down from £60, the night cream features 0.2% retinol to slough away dead skin and visibly refine texture, whilst Vitamin E and Dragon Fruit Extract combine as antioxidants to enhance defence against the ageing impact of free radicals and firming and tightening.
Dubbed a ‘miracle’ cream, its sumptuous formula has delivered results that have left customers astounded. One buyer commented: “This night cream is so luxurious! I can see a massive difference in my skin since I’ve been using this night cream! The fine lines are disappearing! My skin feels plumper and the texture is amazing!
“I’m really impressed with Medik8’s Night Ritual A cream,” someone else noted.
“After just a week, I noticed my skin felt smoother, and those stubborn lines are less noticeable. The cream is rich and nourishing, yet it doesn’t feel heavy at all. My skin feels plump and soft every morning, and I love that it supports my skin’s barrier while I sleep. It’s the perfect addition to my nighttime routine, especially after using my vitamin A serum.”
With it being a relatively ‘rich’ cream, some people found it a little too ‘sticky’ for their liking, with its scent also being a point of contention. For those who want something more lightweight, the Elemis Superfood Midnight Facial (£36.95 from £48 at Lookfantastic) is a good option that contains Camu camu, a source of vitamin C, and cocoa butter and is loved for being ‘very light and smells gorgeous’.
