Renowned mattress company Emma Sleep has launched its winter sale, with up to 30% off mattresses, duvets, pillows and more until January 12
Ensuring a good night’s sleep often starts with getting a decent quality mattress. But many of us settle for something that’s not quite right due to the hefty price tag that usually accompanies top brands. Thankfully, kicking off its post-Christmas discounts early, Emma Sleep has launched a sale which sees up to 30% off mattresses, pillows and more.
Starting on December 23 and running until 12 January, the sale also includes a range of bundles (which include mattresses, toppers, pillows and duvets) for those needing to stock up on a complete bedroom overhaul – perfect for those moving into new homes in January.
But that’s not all, as between 23rd and 26th December, shoppers who spend £500 will get £30 off, while those who spend £1000 will get £100 off.
For example, shoppers can get the Emma Hybrid Airgrid Mattress , which usually retails at £669 for £468.30 for a single size, while doubles are £699.30 from £999 and the king size is down from £1,279 to £895.30. Claiming to be the brand’s ‘most innovative, next-level relaxation and cooling’ mattress, it has been crafted with seven layers of ‘weightless comfort’ that includes three different foam levels.
These are Point-elastic and breathable Airgocell Foam (which aims to be breathable, moving air through open cells to release humidity and maintain a cool, comfortable sleep space,) MemoryAdapt Foam and SupportBase Foam. It also has a 7-zone pocket spring core and Emma AirGrid® technology which is made up of a flexible grid of open air pockets to help relieve pressure and let the skin breathe.

As for its firmness, it’s got a good medium-soft balance – the brand explains that “on a scale from 1 (firm) to 10 (soft), the Emma Hybrid Airgrid is a 8 (medium soft) mattress”.
Emma mattresses come packaged up in a box that’s easy to transport, and all shoppers need to do is let it inflate. Plus, the brand has a 200-night trial period – if users don’t like the mattress in this time, they can return the product free of cost.
In other deals, the Silentnight Foam Rolled Double Mattress from Argos is currently on sale for £167 and as someone who has owned this particular model, I can confirm it delivers a seriously good sleep and is unbelievably comfortable.
Simba’s mattresses have also received high praise, with its Hybrid® Essential Mattress costing £649 for a double size. With a 4.8 star rating, one user wrote a glowing review that said: “I got this mattress ’cause my back’s been killing me, and I just knew it’d be worth it, and I was totally right. Since I started using it, my back pain’s way better, and I feel all recharged for work. Plus, I’m sleeping like a baby! So, big thanks to Simba!”
Shoppers who have invested in an Emma mattress, such as this, have praised it for helping them get the ‘best night’s sleep in while’, with one person raving: “I am really enjoying, very good night’s sleep. Back ache is nearly gone. I am sleeping through the night, which I have not done for a long while. I am extremely happy with my purchase.”
Another hailed it as a ‘magical sleeping experience’, stating: “It’s the best I’ve ever owned. Supremely comfortable and, even when I’ve had a physical day resulting in some aches and pains, by morning all is well once again.”
Although for some, the mattress didn’t quite fit their bedframe despite having the right size, with one person noting: “It doesn’t actually fit my bed frame unlike any mattress I’ve had before.” In this instance, it’s best to ensure the dimensions of the bedframe match up with those noted on the Emma website.
Elsewhere in the sale, shoppers can get the Emma Hybrid Thermosync Mattress , which has EU and UK sizes ranging in prices from £389.25 (instead of £519) to £786.75 down from £1,049. Helping with temperature regulation for hot and cold sleepers, the mattress has been made with graphite-infused, expertly engineered ThermoSync® foam, which ‘draws excess heat away, helping maintain a balanced, comfortable temperature so you can sleep soundly’.
It also claims to adapt to each person individually, so those who share a bed with different sleeping temperatures can still benefit from the same mattress.
This mattress features in the brand’s Emma Hybrid Thermosync Mattress Deal , which costs £772.10 down from £1,103 for a UK double, and the mattress for the bed, a Emma Premium Cloud Pillow and Emma Cloud Duvet . The pillows have been built with Cooling Outlast technology that keeps shoppers ‘sweat free’ all night long and instantly cools from the moment the head hits the pillow.
Homeowners needing to update their bedding can also make use of the sale with pillows and duvets respectively reduced – such as the Emma Premium Foam Pillow Bundle, which contains 2 Premium Pillows , now £123 down from £164. For just one pillow, the price is £60 from £80. Similar to the mattresses, the pillows have multiple foam layers to deliver optimal support the head and neck.
The brand’s Emma 4-Seasons Duvet , which claims to provide year-round comfort, is also discounted and now costs £86.25 from £115 for a single size, while a double is £105 from £140. With an adjustable level of warmth, the duvet comes with a range of layers which can be clipped in together for when a warmer or cooler layers are needed.
One happy Emma fan who bought this particular duvet loved its versatility and said: “Best duvet we’ve ever owned. We love the fact that you can change the duvet to suit your needs as the weather changes. In the summer with our old duvet we used to have to take it out and use only a sheet. But with this duvet, we can go to the thinnest cover and still have some comfort.” They added how it also regulates heat well, and neither them or their husband have ever felt too cold or too hot with the duvet.
