Velvet is one of those fabric wardrobe staples that never seems to go out of fashion. Savvy shoppers after a statement piece to add to their festive wardrobe can look to M&S, who have a dress that buyers have praised for its great quality and ‘stunning’ design.
The Cotton Rich Velvet Embellished Mini Skater Dress is £60, and comes in petite, regular and tall sizing, starting at a six and running through to a 24.
This black dress has a skater style, so the cinched waist and flared bottom is flattering and stylish too. It’s a regular fit and the velvet fabric has a bit of a stretch in it too, according to the product description.

It has a knee length and the fabric side-twist is flattering but also stylish.
