Two teenagers have been killed and another is fighting for his life after a white Tesla crashed into a tree.
Police and ambulance crews were called to the scene in Holland Road near to the junction with Popes Lane in Hurst Green, Surrey, at around 10pm on December 20, after the serious collision took place.
One of the teenage boys was pronounced dead at the scene with another two rushed to hospital. A second teenager later died despite desperate attempts to save him.
Both families have been informed and are being supported by officers. A third man in his late teens remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the vehicle was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A 30-year-old man from Oxted was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
A spokesperson for Surrey Police said: “Holland Road remains closed between the junction with Popes Lane and the junction with Warren Lane whilst officers carry out enquiries. It is expected to remain closed for several hours. Please avoid the area.
“We are asking anyone who may have witnessed this collision to get in touch. We are also seeking CCTV, dashcam, or helmet cam footage that may have captured all or part of this incident.
