The release of the Epstein Files has captured the public’s attention as they prepare to sift through tens of thousands of documents to uncover the late child sex trafficker’s links to the powerful elite.
Epstein, who died in a New York prison cell in 2019, abused dozens of girls and young women alongside his accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell – sparking an outcry over how he was able to carry out the sickening crimes for so long. The promise of making documents public that expose his ties to Donald Trump, Prince Andrew and other powerful figures, such as Bill Clinton, had fired up Americans wanting to rid Washington DC from sleaze.
After Trump’s apparent reluctance to release the files increasingly frustrated Republicans, many teamed up with Democrats to force the release of the files. Under law, the files must be released by December 19 – although there are provisions to redact information connected to victims and those named in the files have not necessarily committed any crimes.
While new names could be revealed in the documents, here is who we do know is already in the Epstein Files.
