Diversion routes in place
A diversion route has been given by National Highways following the serious crash which has shut the M6 northbound from Junction 1 for Rugby and Junction 2 for Coventry and the M59.
The route is as follows: “Road users are advised to follow the Hollow Triangle diversion symbol on road signs
“At M6 J1 take the exit to the A426 northbound.
“Continue along the A426 to its junction with the A5.
“Take the exit to A5 westbound and continue to its junction with the M69 J1.
“Take the exit to M69 southbound and continue to M6 J2.
“If this closure impacts on your planned route, please allow extra journey time.
“Plan ahead, you may wish to re-route or even delay your journey.”
