If you’re considering purchasing some perfume for a loved one this Christmas, or fancy treating yourself to a new fragrance for the upcoming festive parties, then you’re in luck. The Perfume Shop is offering a fantastic deal where you can bag 15% off any scent in its store, and all you need to do is return an empty perfume bottle.
The retailer recently shared the deal with its 101,000 followers on its official TikTok account. In a video, a staff member is seen holding up an empty perfume bottle as she announces: “Want to get 15% off while helping the environment? Just head into store, recycle your old bottle and save some money.”
Simply bring your empty bottle to any store, and they’ll take care of the recycling, rewarding you with a discount for a future purchase, either in-store or online, as a thank you for being eco-friendly.
In addition to the discount, the store will plant a tree with Veritree for each bottle returned.
The shop states on its website: “As part of our bottle recycling service, we have partnered with Veritree, working towards a sustainable future by restoring critical landscapes which help the planet to thrive.
“Veritree connects us with tree-planting projects that help restore our planet. They sequester carbon, restore ecosystems and create local jobs. Their goal is to drive change by creating a long-lasting impact that is good for the planet, biodiversity, and our communities.
“At The Perfume Shop, we pledge to plant a tree for every perfume bottle a customer brings back to be recycled with us, as well as other activities throughout the year.
“So don’t throw away that empty perfume bottle! Recycle it with us in-store and help change lives for the better.”
Those looking to be more environmentally conscious are also urged to refill their existing perfume bottle.
The Perfume Shop’s website states: “Refillable scents are a great way to eliminate unnecessary waste, plus you will not have to get rid of a beautiful flacon from your dressing table!”.
