As a tech and consumer journalist, November is my busiest time of year. Black Friday is the biggest sales period of the year, and shoppers can find deals on a wide range of products, from technology to kitchen and home appliances, as well as gardening tools.
Wowcher is a savvy deals website that offers reductions on various departments throughout the year; however, it also hosts a Black Friday event with additional reductions. This year’s sales bonanza is now live on the website, featuring numerous tech offers worth highlighting.
Here are my top Wowcher Black Friday recommendations. In addition to items like laptops and smartwatches, I’ve included some useful household tech that can make a real difference in any household.
One thing to note is that, like Amazon Renewed and BackMarket, the majority of these deals are refurbished. However, Wowcher does state the conditions shoppers can expect to be delivered to their door.
Energy Efficient 10L Portable Dehumidifier, £74.99 worth £299

Lenovo ThinkPad T470 Laptop from £209

This is a great laptop for students or people looking for a device for casual use, such as streaming. The Lenovo ThinkPad T470 Laptop promises to ‘deliver seamless multitasking and fast performance for demanding tasks’.
It features a 15.6-inch screen and includes ports for USB, Mini Display, VGA, HDMI, USB-C, SD Card Reader, and WiFi. There are two laptops to choose from, each with a different storage capacity: 8GB or 16GB RAM.
This product is in Grade A refurbished condition. While it may show slight signs of wear and tear, it remains in ‘excellent working order with no physical damage’, Wowcher states.
It is also worth noting that Argos has launched its Black Friday sale, offering savings on laptops. The Apple MacBook Air 2022 is now £699, a £300 discount from £999.
Apple Watch Series 7
