As energy bills soar and the mercury plummets, Brits are on the hunt for a cost-effective alternative to cranking up the central heating, and Dunelm might just have the answer with its range of affordable heating solutions. The 1500W Small Square Olive Heater, priced at a reasonable £30, is available on the homeware giant’s website.

It’s been given the thumbs up by over 60 reviewers, with some praising it as ‘powerful’. The device’s heat output is powered by 1500W and it boasts an adjustable thermostat, perfect for finding your ideal temperature.

One of the key selling points of the Small Square Olive Heater is its compact design (22.8cm x 22cm x 22.5cm), making it a small but potent weapon against the cold. For peace of mind, the heater features a power indicator light to show when it’s in use, and it comes equipped with a safety tip-over switch and overheating protection.

For those willing to splash out a bit more, the De’Longhi Slimline Convection Heater is available from Lakeland for £114.99. This model offers three temperature settings, a 24-hour digital timer and a fan mode. According to the retailer, it’s suitable for rooms up to 72m3 and costs 82p per hour to run.

Yimbly, a site owned by the parent company of Mirror, Reach Plc, is offering a variety of heaters for sale. Among them is the SmartAir Glow Heat Electric Heater, now reduced to £45 from its original price of £49.99, reports the Daily Record.

However, shoppers can bag an even bigger bargain with the discount code AUTUMN10, which brings the price down to just £40.50. This heater boasts customisable warmth, ambient lighting and safety features, making it the ‘perfect way to heat any space’.

The 1500W Small Square Olive Heater has received rave reviews on Dunelm, boasting a high 4.5 out of five star rating from more than 60 customers. One satisfied customer said: “Small but powerful little heater, gives plenty of heat in a short time, very happy.”

Another penned as part of a longer review: “Packs a punch for such a small heater. Ideal to take the chill off a room – preferably with the doors closed too – meaning I can delay putting the heating on or even do without. “.

A third chimed in: “Saw this in store and immediately realised I wanted this heater. Good build quality, not like some of the other flimsy ones out there. Good temperature output, not overly loud.”

However, not everyone was completely satisfied, as one Dunelm shopper shared: “Lovely little heater. I’d like it better if it was a little quieter.”

One satisfied customer who has already purchased the 1500W Small Square Olive Heater shared: “Very stylish and functional heater. It warms up a small room reasonably quick. The only problem is that it cannot be plugged into extension and cannot be placed on carpet, so I need to find ways to place it on a safe place.”
