The Silentnight Comfort Control Electric Blanket, priced at £35.45 in double size, features a fast heat-up with three heat settings, which Amazon says costs as little as 1p to heat a bed. It’s made from a warm fleece material with a detachable controller, so it is machine washable.

Plus, it has easy fit, elastic straps to secure the blanket to the bed. There’s also a super king size option available, which is currently priced at £42.97 down from £55, saving shoppers a handy 22%.

Unlike the Silentnight Comfort Control Electric Blanket, it features dual temperature controllers with auto shut-off timer options, and is even tumble dryer safe, the brand says, with its detachable digital controls.
