The news has been welcomed by many who are keen to try the new items
Tesco has announced it is ‘shaking up’ its autumn 2025 cafe menu to introduce several new seasonal treats for customers to enjoy as the weather gets colder. In the UK, there are more than 300 Tesco Cafes, although the precise count can change since they are part of some of Tesco’s bigger stores.
These cafes offer a variety of food and drink options, such as breakfasts, light meals, hot and cold drinks, and baked treats. The supermarket took to Facebook to share the news this week, saying: “Say hello to the season, with our new Autumn menu at The Café in Tesco.”
It added: “From Bacon, Egg and Chilli Jam Brioche to a Banoffee Pie Shake – we’ve got your autumn cravings, sorted.” To find your nearest Tesco Café, visit tes.co/TescoCafe.
Three new drinks include a Banoffee Pie Milkshake, which comes with whipped cream and caramel sauce. There is also a green-coloured Toasted Marshmallow Iced Matcha. For something a bit more warming, a Spiced Apple Winter Warmer is now on the menu.
In terms of food, Tesco Cafe customers can tuck into a Bacon, Egg and Chilli Jam Brioche, which comes with soft cheese, wild rocket, coriander, and chilli flakes. Or, there’s a Beef and Horseradish Mayo Focaccia sandwich, which also comes with wild rocket.
A hearty lunch option is Tesco Cafe’s new Cream of Tomato Soup and Honey Roast Ham and Cheddar Toastie. The Facebook post of all the new food and drink menu items has gained plenty of positive attention from shoppers.
In the comment section, one fan called Natalie said: “Loved the banoffee pie shake.” Becki said: “Ooh that banoffee shake looks so yum, shopping next week.” Commenting on the soup and toastie, Vicki said: “Perfect combo lunch for our autumn shopping trip.”
On Instgram, one impressed customer said: “Tesco you have yet again out done yourself, please drop that matcha recipe I am an AVID matcha connoisseur.” Replying to another comment, Tesco said: “This toasted marshmallow matcha is a top choice.”
Besides Facebook, Tesco also shared the news on TikTok, with a heavily edited video that plenty of fans enjoyed watching and commenting about. In the caption, Tesco said: “The new Autumn menu serving pure aura at The Café in Tesco.”
The clip shows various Tesco Cafe staff handing out various food and drink. One person replied: “I swear nothing beats a Tesco edit”. A second said: “Tesco is my new favourite because of these fantabulous TikToks.” A third said: “Holy smokes best edit of my life bro.”
