Firefighters have stormed a warehouse estate after a huge fire broke out this morning. Humberside Fire and Rescue released a statement this morning saying that they were dealing with a “large scale incident in the Stoneferry area of Hull”.
The force issued a further warning to local residents, telling them to “avoid the area and keep windows closed”. Eyewitnesses have taken to Twitter to share images of the fire from across the city. One man reported hearing “banging” and seeing a huge plume of smoke and fire in the dawn sky.
