Make full use of Amazon’s pre-Spring Deals Day offer on Bio-Oil’s ‘very moisturising’ and ‘effective’ stretch mark and scar oil
It’s always a good day when one of our old faithful beauty products goes on sale. Today, thanks to a pre-Amazon Spring Deals Day offer, the retailer is slashing the price of Bio-Oil Skincare Oil to £10.
Previously £16.82, you can add a 125ml bottle to your basket for £10.56 – nearly a 40% reduction on the original price. The deal makes the hero body oil cheaper than Boots, where a 60ml bottle of the same product is retailing for £10.99.
You may already to be long-term user of the oil, but if you’re not, many tout it as a trusted solution for helping to reducing the appearance of scars, stretch marks and hyperpigmentation on the body and face. It’s also been noted by users for helping to soften skin and improve the look of wrinkles and dehydration lines.
What makes Bio-Oil special is its blend of vitamins (A and E), plant extracts, and purcellin oil, which work to hydrate, nourish, reduce inflammation, soothe and heal. But don’t just take the brand’s word for it. The oil has a whopping 40k 5-star reviews on its Amazon page, where many are keen to highlight how it helped with scar and stretch mark reduction.

“I bought this because it was recommended to prevent stretch marks. It’s very effective and my belly is the same as it was before I was pregnant. It’s also very moisturising and has a nice scent. I’m also happy that I can get it cheaper than buying it at Boots,” says one happy shopper.
A second pens: “Have been using this for years and frequently brought it from Boots and other chemist. But decided to buy via Amazon. Bio oil soaks into my skin. Lovely inoffensive smell. Light oil and not greasy. My sister has been using this on her medical scars for years and it’s lessened the appearance. It’s about a year of consistent use, but they are almost unnoticeable now.”
A third adds: “I use this to mix into my face moisturiser and my body moisturiser and always get compliments on how smooth my skin is. also put it on scars and over time it has changed the colours to be less noticeable so if you’re getting this for scars i wouldn’t recommend if you want them gone quicker.”
However, a fourth gave a different opinion, writing: “It’s good for superficial scars but useless on areas of significant tissue trauma. I think that’s worth knowing to manage expectations.”
