Social media users have all been left cringing over one woman’s new manicure after it was posted in a nail Facebook page slamming the unique and bizarre design
It can be hard choosing the perfect manicure, but one woman has left people’s skin crawling over her unique design.
While getting your nails done is a personal choice with plenty of colour, shapes and designs to choose from, people have been stunned by the shape the woman has chosen – and it’s safe to say it won’t be used as inspiration for others.
Beauty treatments can go wrong at times, but most people would speak up if they weren’t happy – which makes people think this nail polish lover was happy with her outcome, after taking a photo of her claws.
The photo of the nails were posted into a beauty lovers’ Facebook group called That’s it, I’m Nail Shaming – and it left people cringing. The page is dedicated to people sharing their worst manicures to the 93.7k members, and this one has taken the crown.
The group’s description says it’s a place for users to post their “WORST nails,” telling users “no posting nails that clearly look nice! We ONLY want to see those raggedy a** nails!”
The bizarre manicure choice left people shuddering at the thought of the owner trying to put a jumper on – and the poster understood the brief when posting in the group.
The post was captioned: “Thanks, I hate it,” as the photo showed a woman’s hand with her nails mostly trimmed down – but had, for some reason. left odd oblong sections in the middle of the nail, giving the impression that each nail has its own pointer.
The edges weren’t even filed down, they were just left with sharp angles that looked as if they could do some serious damage if scratched by them. There also didn’t appear to have a colour on them, and were just left natural.
It wasn’t long until the comments section was flooded by members posting their thoughts – and everyone was in agreement that these nails were truly the worst they’d seen.
Left horrified, one Facebook user wrote: “This actually turned my stomach for some reason,” while another said: “This just made me skin crawl.”
A third chimed: “Just because you saw it doesn’t mean we needed to,” and a fourth said: “I’m so uncomfortable.”
