The Ultenic U12 Vesla cordless vacuum seems to have cleaners scrapping their older models
As spring cleaning gets underway for many, shoppers are seemingly replacing their vacuums for a ‘fantastic’ Amazon model. The Ultenic U12 vacuum cleaner is currently on Amazon for £140 – but a new voucher means you can knock £15 off the price – and it’s seen some shoppers ditch their Henry vacuum for it.
It has a powerful 45000Pa suction, capturing dust and cleaning up dirt and pet hair. The U12 Vesla comes equipped with four suction modes and a healthy battery life of 50 minutes. The device’s LED display screen provides a battery level indicator, and the battery is detachable so you can replace it when it starts dying.
The U12 even has a built-in green light on the floor brush and additional LED lights on top so you can easily reveal dust even in dark areas. And for those hard-to-reach places, its extendable stick reaches up to 1.2 meters, effortlessly accessing areas like sofas, under beds, cabinets, car trunks, and more,

You won’t need to worry about the weight, either. It is incredibly lightweight, weighing only 0.41kg, which is 25% lighter than regular vacuums. According to reviewers, it is compatible with Dyson attachments although we’d say that this is not recommended.
Other alternatives are available, such as the Shark Classic Anti Hair Wrap Upright Pet Vacuum, which is currently on sale for £179.99. It has received glowing reviews and comes with a 5-year guarantee, offering reliability alongside its higher price tag. There’s also the Powerffy cordless vacuum that you can get for £89 from Amazon that has been a hit with shoppers,
It has been so good that people have been ditching their old hoovers for the U12. One shopper said: “After having Henry Hoover for 10 years, it was getting too heavy for me to lift about and upstairs.
“After a lot of research, I decided on this make and model. It’s lightweight and easy to disassemble and ensemble. It takes up no space in my cupboard, unlike Henry and its many accessories. I love the green light and the spotlight feature, which literally shows all the dust and hair on the floors”.
Despite some Amazon shoppers ditching their Henry vacuums for the Ultenic model, Henry continues to be a well-reputable brand, and it’s certainly worth looking at, it doesn’t have to be the smiley-faced device many of us associate with the brand. In fact, Argos has a sale on the Henry Quick Pet Cordless Vacuum which is now on offer for £219 – a £121 saving.
Back to the Ultenic U12 model being snapped up by Amazon shoppers, and some did highlight that they were underwhelmed with the suction and battery on the Ultenic U12 model. One reviewer said: “The cleaner comes really well packaged and is lightweight and at first look is nice sleek and easy to store.
“The battery life, unfortunately, is fairly short, lasting roughly 35 minutes on full charge on the highest suction setting, which is required to provide a thorough clean, which brings me to my 2 main points: The charging time from empty takes circa 3 hours and the suction power isn’t the greatest, it does pick up general mess on the floor but doesn’t give the feel or final finish of a deep clean.”
