The online giant is offering a 56% discount on the essential travel gadget for a limited time
Travelling abroad often means having to part with your belongings for a period of time which can be worrying for some people. Smart tag trackers are the perfect gadget for giving travellers peace of mind, as you can keep track of exactly where your suitcase is.
Ahead of the summer travel season, Amazon has slashed the price of the Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2 Bluetooth Tracker for a limited time. Originally priced at £34.99, it can now be yours for £15.29, thanks to a lovely 56% discount. This is the cheapest price around, with the tracker costing £23.80 when bought directly from Samsung.
As well as being ideal for keeping track of your luggage, smart tags can also be used with items you’re frequently losing, such as your car keys. The Samsung gadget is water-resistant and offers up to 500 days of lifespan, with the handy Power Saving Mode extending it by up to 40%.

If you’ve misplaced an item, simply switch on the Search Nearby function and get intuitive instructions via the Compass View. If you still can’t find what you’re looking for, your Samsung SmartTag2 will call out to you via the Ring Your Tag feature.
When Lost Mode is activated, the tracker’s NFC (Near Field Communication) displays your registered contact information and message on the finder’s smartphone, making it easier to return your belongings to you. The Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2 Bluetooth Tracker is an Amazon’s Choice product; a highly rated, well-priced product that’s available to ship immediately.
Over 5,700 customers have reviewed the gadget to date, with it earning an average score of 4.4 out of five. One impressed buyer commented: “This is a true competitor to the Apple AirTag. I am finally happy to have an Android alternative to a Bluetooth Tracker… Real-time updating works wonders and it is very reliable to update its location. This is good, so I can see exactly where my luggage is. Nearby Search works pretty well in trying to find my product if it is nearby me.”
Unfortunately they did go on to note an issue: “Originally, the loud alarm in the device worked, however recently I wasn’t able to get it to work. I hope Samsung fixes this, but until then the sound was great and very loud.”
Sadly one Amazon customer was left disappointed with the Samsung SmartTag, as they explained: “I got this for my cat so I know where she is at all times, but it doesn’t track her once she’s more than 20 seconds away from me. I watched her walk into the woods by my house that is a 15 second walk from my garden, then I tried to track her and it wouldn’t refresh to show where she was… An hour later I saw her on the field in front of my house and the app finally updated saying she was home.”
However, one thrilled shopper left a glowing five-star review: “Bought for travelling and it has been a game changer. Thankfully I have not lost any luggage so far, but having this has been such a nice reassurance and I have been able to track at each stage of the journey. Really easy to set up and it shows in my Samsung Smart Things app. Got it on sale too which made it better.”
“Compared to the Pebblebee smart tag, this is amazing,” wrote another satisfied customer, however they did highlight a drawback: “Shame you need a Samsung phone for it to work as this is by far the market leader for me in the smart tracker market.”
