Aldi shoppers don’t have to give up on sofa cuddles with their four-legged friends, as the supermarket has a simple solution to protect their furniture. Some have branded it the “perfect” item that lifts any sofa ban that pets might have to follow.
The supermarket has introduced a range of pet-friendly products to its infamous middle aisle. One stand-out item is the Pet Sofa Rug for £20.
It comes in either black, dark grey or light grey and is designed to drape over your couch and protect it from pet hairs. This means you can still enjoy those cosy cuddles on the sofa without worrying about fluff and hair sticking everywhere.
The 5.5-foot (170-cm) long Sofa Rug can be removed and cleaned in the washing machine. When it was shared online on the Money Saver by Dansway Facebook page, people raved about it.
Pet parents were quick to praise how easy and affordable the item was—and some claimed it was a “game changer.” One said, “These are so good and wash time after time. Well worth the money!”
Another added: “I have these and also two for the car seats and they are brilliant. You’d never guess we even had dogs! Not a hair in sight!”
A third wrote, “These are actually so cosy. We keep them on all the time with the cats around, but it just makes our leather sofa a little warmer too – so that’s a bonus!”
Someone else commented: “Just what I needed. We’ve not long bought a new sofa, and I wasn’t going to let the dogs on it at all, but now I will!”
