Dad spots ghostly figure lurking on ‘haunted’ road
A dad was left with “chills down his spine” after spotting a ghostly figure walking along a ‘haunted’ road. Aden Hudson was on his way home from work when he noticed the eerie shadow.
The 26-year-old, who works as a production line worker, said he wasn’t aware anyone was walking down Haddiscoe Dam, Norwich, Norfolk, at the time. However, it wasn’t until he got home and looked back at his camera when he was filming his journey home, that he spotted something.
The dad-of-one saw a dark shadow, which can be seen walking along the road in his footage. Aden said: “When I watched the video back, it sent chills down my spine. We hadn’t spotted anyone and there were no cars around.
“If we’d seen someone, then one of us would have pointed it out because it’s unheard of for someone to be walking along that road even in the daytime. It’s a treacherous road and there isn’t even a pavement. It’s really out of place. I posted the video on social media and didn’t think anything of it.
“When I got home, I watched the video back and I couldn’t believe it.” Aden was with two other colleagues on the journey home when the sighting took place, he added: “I’ve been doing the journey for about nine months.
“I usually film the journey because the fog looks good and it’s quite a twisty road I messaged my colleagues and they hadn’t seen anyone either. There were three of us and the driver is a really good, observant driver. They couldn’t believe it either.”
This isn’t the first time local residents have spotted eerie figures walking the streets. Aden shared: “People from the local area have told me that it’s quite a haunted road and there are five accidents a year.
“I’m sceptical. I have to see it to believe it. That road has had a lot of accidents so if you’re going to see a ghost anywhere then that road is the place, especially at that time of night.”
