If you’re struggling to pick out a Christmas present for a man in your life, a new watch might be an ideal gift. A classic yet functional fashion statement could be exactly what he wants under the tree – and now might be the best time to buy one too.
Amazon has cut the price on a huge range of products ahead of Black Friday, meaning you can snap up potential Christmas presents at a fraction of their normal cost. The sale includes major designer items like Hugo Boss, with some of their watches getting better than half price reductions.
The BOSS Men’s 44mm Chronograph Quartz Watch Pilot Edition is one of several lines reduced in the online retailer’s Black Friday event. The timepiece is slashed to just over half price (51%) for a limited time only, down from £269 to £130.99.
With a sleek and classic design, the watch has three sub-dials and a date function for “exceptional timekeeping”. It has a “sturdy” 44mm case, making for a “bold presence on your wrist while remaining comfortable”.
Adorned with the iconic BOSS logo, the watch has a “striking” black coloured dial. It has a “luxurious” leather strap that “combines elegance with durability, offering a comfortable and refined fit for any occasion.”
Amazon ran a very similar deal on this watch during their October Prime Day, as reported by the Liverpool Echo. So, if you missed out then, you’ll have another chance to scoop the designer piece for a bargain price.
One shopper branded the watch as “a standout piece”, adding: “The small accents of red on the face compliment the well-polished silver/black aesthetic. It is easy to coordinate your style around and fits comfortably and securely.
Another added: “The price is high but must be expected for such a luxury item. It cannot be understated how good this watch looks in person. If you are looking for an amazing piece that exhibits pure grandeur, look no further!”
However, not everyone was pleased with their purchase. One claimed: “Bought this for my husband as one of his birthday gifts. About one month into wearing it the strap has started to fade and lose its colour. Really upset about this!”
Similar deals in Amazon’s sale include the BOSS 45mm Chronograph Quartz Watch, down from £229 to £95, and the BOSS Men’s 44mm VELOCITY Watch with Silicone Strap, with a 40% price cut taking £264 down to £157.99.
Elsewhere, Debenhams has cut the price of several luxury watch brands including this STÜHRLING Original Depthmaster 883H Automatic Swiss Dive Watch. The timepiece usually sells for £1,995 but can be snapped up for just £236.
Also, Argos have a range of reduced men’s watches like this bold Armani Exchange Watch with Blue Stainless Steel Strap down from £199.99 to £89.99. Argos also offers a Black Friday ‘Price Promise’ on certain items, like this watch, meaning the price tag “will not fall below the purchase price” before Christmas Day at Argos.
