Sky’s ‘lowest price’ TV package
Sky customers can currently get the provider’s Ultimate TV Package for its ‘lowest price’ ever. The Sky Stream, Sky TV and Netflix bundle is now on offer at £19 a month, down from the usual £26.
This saves members £168 over the 24-month term and comes with a new Sky Stream box, Sky’s plug-in-and-play device that streams live and on-demand content over WiFi without the need for a satellite dish. Sky Stream provides access to premium channels like Sky Atlantic and Sky Documentaries, with the latest deal including a subscription to Netflix’s Standard with Ads plan at no extra cost.
After the 24-month, the plan will renew at £31 on a 31-day rolling contract, but at this point you’re free to cancel and shop around for a better deal.
Save £165 on Sky Glass
For those on the lookout for a new TV this Black Friday, it’s worth considering Sky Glass as it now comes with an enticing £165 discount. Sky Glass is Sky’s own 4K UHD Quantum Dot smart TV with a Dolby Atmos soundbar that comes with Sky TV and streaming built in, eliminating the need for a Sky box.
Plans usually start at £42 a month for the 43” model, but Sky has reduced this to £33, saving members £165. There’s also a 55” model on offer at £38, with customers able to customise the TV with a choice of colours including Ocean Blue, Ceramic White and Anthracite Black.
A Sky Glass package includes more than 100 channels and a Netflix subscription with Sky’s Ultimate TV Package, with top channels like Sky Atlantic and Sky Documentaries, plus voice control and personalised recommendations.
Sky TV and broadband
As well as discounts on TV packages, Sky is also offering discounted broadband for shoppers looking to consolidate their TV and internet services. Sky offers a range of broadband speeds from 75Mbps to 900Mbps alongside hundreds of TV channels and Netflix.
The Sky Stream, Sky TV, Netflix and Full Fibre 150 broadband plan is now down to its ‘lowest price’ ever of £38 a month, down from £39. While not a huge saving, this packed plan includes more than 100 TV channels with Sky Stream, a free Netflix with Ads subscription and fibre broadband with average speeds up to 150Mbps.
If you’re after even faster broadband, it doesn’t get much better than Sky’s Gigafast plan. Offering speeds of up to 900Mbps, this plan is ideal for busy households running several devices like games consoles and TVs streaming in 4K.
The Sky Stream, Sky TV, Netflix and Gigafast broadband now comes in at £54 a month, down from £63. Sky has also recently introduced its new One Touch Switch process, which makes switching providers easier than ever.
With this, new customers no longer have to contact their old provider to make the switch, as Sky does the leg work for you, as well as offering round the clock support from a real person with its dedicated 24/7 switching service.
Sky isn’t the only brand to launch its Black Friday sale early, as Virgin Media has also slashed the prices of its TV and broadband plans. Virgin customers can currently save up to £255 on a range of plans that include more than 200 TV channels – including Sky Cinema and Sky Sports – and broadband with speeds up to 1,130Mbps, as well as three months of free Disney+.
