This incredible four bedroom house is on sale for just £100K but it comes with one major catch – with people all saying the same thing about the bargain priced property
This four bedroom house has gone onto the market for just £100K – but it comes with a huge catch.
Located in Calmore, Southampton, images of the extended terrace house highlight how it is in need of a complete renovation before it could be made habitable again. The images show that in some of the rooms the ceilings have fallen down, while wallpaper is peeling off of walls throughout the property, and there appears to be large patches of mold throughout the property.
Although it will need a fair amount of work to get back into a liveable state, once renovated the property – which comes with four double bedrooms and three reception rooms – could make a perfect family home. The house, which is listed to be auctioned by Fox & Sons on November 19, has the potential to be valued at over £300K once it’s been refurbished.
“The property can be found in the well-established residential area of Calmore which is located on the outskirts of Totton and is well-placed for access to travel networks and bus services which pass along Calmore Drive,” reads the Rightmove description. “Calmore Infant and Junior schools are within walking distance of the property along with a local shop, with a wider range of amenities available in Totton town centre.
“This extended end of terrace house requires complete renovation throughout and comprises a substantial level of accommodation measuring circa 657 square feet to include four double bedrooms and three reception rooms.”
A number of Reddit users also came across the listing and had a lot to say about it. DaveN202 said: “Nah, it stays as is. It’s the reason I fell in love with the place. It’s perfect.” While IllegalBerry had some questions and asked : “How do you get rid of that much mould in a house? How do you GET that much mould in a house???” Papillon-and-on added: “I think at this point we shouldn’t call it house any more. It’s a mould, with some house attached.”
