If you thought January had been a stellar month for beauty launches, you’d certainly be right. But February is hot on its heels, bringing with it a slew of luxury and budget-friendly releases from some of our favourite brands.
Last month, we saw the likes of Benefit launch a brand new mascara, while Medik8’s new Liquid Peptides Advanced MD took skincare fans by storm. There’s not a single person on the team not obsessed with the Elemis Pro Collagen Black Cherry Cleansing Balm, and Marc Jacob’s new Daisy Glow scent is also proving a hit.
With so many fresh launches coming out within the first couple of weeks of the year, truth be told we expected February to be a little quiet – but how wrong were we? Body mists are set to be a major trend in 2025, with shoppers looking to layer fragrances and take them on-the-go. As such, we’ve been pretty excited about some new additions to the Fenty empire and Nest New York’s scent library.
I asked 16 celebriti es what their must-have beauty product is and this is what they told me
‘I asked Next employee to choose my outfit and more than one item made it into my wardrobe’
For makeup lovers, the By Terry’s Rouge Opulent Lipstick is the height of luxury and is a firm favourite with our reviewers. KOSAS has also made waves with their Revealer Extra Bright Colour Corrector, providing skincare-infused coverage to combat tired eyes.
There’s plenty of new skincare on the market, too, from Glow Recipe continuing to dominate the skincare-meets-makeup category with their Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dewy Flush. For those seeking hydration with a glass-skin effect, BYOMA’s Phyto-Mucin Glow Serum proves to be a must-have, offering intense moisture without a sticky finish.
And that’s not even half of it, with the likes of Rodial, Charlotte Tilbury and La Roche-Posay also having dropped new products in recent weeks. So whether you’re looking to refresh your routine with a new lip colour, achieve that coveted dewy glow, or find a game-changing skincare essential, here are the 13 best beauty drops this month as chosen by our shopping experts.
By Terry Rouge Opulent Lipstick – £49
By Terry has introduced their first-ever refillable lipstick with Rouge Opulent , which is an undeniably luxurious addition to the brand’s coveted lip library. This year, boujee lippys are taking centre stage as beauty buffs offer a glimpse into their handbags on social media with snaps or reels, and a high end lipstick is a quick and easy way to elevate that content.
Encased in an art deco inspired golden case, it’s very much an investment lipstick, coming in at £49 , but the refills cost £34, so the case will eventually pay for itself, making it both timeless and sustainable. Inspired by the jewellery founder Terry De Gunzburg’s mother wore, this is the kind of beauty product we can see being passed through generations as a keepsake.
As well as its gorgeous design, the formula itself is equally impressive, delivering high-performance colour with a luminous velvet finish. Infused with Ruby Radiance Complex, 50 Peptides, Raspberry Leaf Extract, and Goji Berry Extract, it nourishes, smooths, and enhances lips while offering a smudge-proof, long-wearing effect.
The lipstick is available in 12 elegant shades and I tried out shade Mon Rouge and was surprised at how hydrating and comfortable it is for a matte formula. The powerful red shade is a real confidence booster and is perfect for date night or those days when you need to feel a little fierce.
An alternative premium lipstick option with a chic, refillable case is the customisable ultra-care lipstick from Guerlain . Shoppers can choose a shade and a case to create your complete lipstick and even get the case engraved. For the following purchases, refill the shade or change the case as you wish.

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dewy Flush – £22
Glow Recipe’s Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dewy Flush has officially landed exclusively at Sephora, and it’s already a must-have for achieving that fresh, radiant glow. This innovative tinted cheek serum is packed with skincare benefits, making it the perfect fusion of makeup and hydration.
Formulated with 3% Niacinamide to brighten and refine skin texture, Watermelon Extract and Centella Asiatica to plump and calm, and Jojoba-Oil Coated Pigments for a seamless, hydrated finish, this lightweight serum melts effortlessly into the skin. Available in two sheer, buildable hues – Watermelon Flush (a soft peachy-pink) and Berry Flush (a rich berry-plum) – it offers a natural, dewy flush that enhances any complexion.
Designed to be the final step in your skincare routine, Dewy Flush can be tapped onto bare skin for a healthy, lit-from-within radiance or layered with minimal makeup for a fresh, effortless look. And it’s already raking in reviews on the Sephora website, too. One shopper said: “Amazing blush! Normally I steer away from liquid blush as I find them patchy or too pigmented, but this blush seamlessly blended into my skin and left a beautiful flush of colour.”
Another added: “Love this cheek product it gives you the perfect flushed look without feeling sticky! my cheeks look super hydrated and plump after using it and the colour is a perfect natural flush that’s great with makeup or on its own!”
Though a third added: “This blush-serum has a beautiful peachy shade that will look gorgeous on any skin tone, which I love. There’s a tiny shimmer in it. The pigmentation is quite low, requiring multiple layers to show up. The texture feels more like a liquid lipstick, which may not work for everyone, especially oily skin types. Very lasting though. Nice concept overall, but not the best formula to my taste.”

BYOMA Phyto-Mucin Glow Serum – £13.99
Korean skincare favourite BYOMA has been continuing its mission to repair and protect skin barriers with its latest launch, the Phyto-Mucin Glow Serum. The ingredients are top tier and a daily necessity for my dry skin! Korean skincare are leaders in skincare and at this price point too, wow! Amazing.”

Charlotte Tilbury Beautifying Eye Palette – £49
When Charlotte Tilbury releases a new product, me along with thousands of other beauty fans get excited. I religiously use the brand’s Pillow Talk Luxury Eye Palette so if their latest offering is anything close, it’s well worth snapping up.
The beauty brand known for their glow-inducing makeup and skincare goodies have treated us to six brand new eyeshadow palettes in a colour comeback we’ve all been waiting for. Shoppers can choose from Super Neutral, Denim Dimension, Pink Love, Digital Lilac, Sensual Sunset and Emerald Effect.

Fans are applauding the shades for being ‘gorgeous’, with hues including copper, lilac, mauve, rose, molten brown, olive and more to take your pick from.
Excitement for this new launch has been evident, with comments pouring in from users. Many people said ‘can’t wait to try’ saying there is ‘every shade under the sun’ to choose from. Calling the shades ‘beautiful’ and ‘gorgeous’, another customer hailed them as ‘heaven’, and someone else said they are ‘pure magic’.
While the majority of feedback so far is positive, a few people noted that they are not too keen on the packaging. Someone wrote: “Packaging could be improved on these palettes for sure,” sharing that it didn’t look as luxurious as they had hoped. Browse all six eyeshadow palettes here.
Nest New York Santa Barbera Strawberry – from £35
Strawberry is cropping up more and more often, with it looking to be for 2025 what pistachio has been in years passed. One brand, Nest New York, launched their take on the fresh fruity scent with a range of perfumes over on Cult Beauty.
You can get Santa Barbara Strawberry in three different ways: a large perfume oil for £102, a perfume body mist for £39 or travel friendly 6ml perfume oil for £35. Rodial Dragon’s Blood Water Serum – £130
Skincare brand Rodial are arguably best known for their inventive ingredients, with bee venom and snake oil being among some of their most popular formulas. Having racked up a loyal fan base, even Kate Middleton reportedly using their products, now Rodial have expanded their dragon’s blood range to include a light-weight and refreshing serum.
The Rodial Dragon’s Blood Water Serum might sound a little daunting, but ‘dragon’s blood’ is actually a type of tree sap, excellent at comforting and restoring the skin through hydration. I’ve previously used the Rodial Dragon’s Blood Sculpting Gel and it effectively improved the texture and redness of my complexion.
Rodial’s new serum has a luxuriously silky formula, absorbing quickly into the skin without any irritating sticky feeling. So far, it has kept my dry patches at bay, without causing greasiness and I am starting to see an improvement to redness. I’ve only been using it for a few weeks, however, other reviews state that they have noticed a ‘real difference’ in fine lines since incorporating the serum into their skincare routine.
The water serum is certainly an investment at £130 for a 30ml bottle, but having tried a number of different lotions and potions at much lower price points to help with redness and texture, Rodial’s dragon’s blood formula has shown more impressive results. Plus, a little really does go a long way so I can see this bottle lasting months. You can try it here.
Givenchy Prism Libre Glow Serum Foundation – £48
Skincare-makeup hybrids are still big and we’re loving this new Givenchy Prism Libre Glow Serum Foundation. Hailed as ‘hydration in a bottle’, the product is formulated with micro hyaluronic acid and ceramide yuzu extract to stop your skin from drying out and keep your makeup intact for longer.
I have fair-medium skin and opted for shades 1.5W and 2N, mixing them together for my perfect match. As I blended the two colours out with a Morphe M104 Domed Foundation Brush, it left a soft a glow on my skin that I would describe it as dewy.
Unlike others that I’ve tried in the past, this foundation did not leave any oiliness; it reflected light on areas like the cheekbones and nose. Givenchy stated that their study showed in just three weeks, skin is four times more radiant, more blurred and visibly hydrated even after using the foundation.
La Roche-Posay anti-ageing serum – £33
La Roche-Posay’s new Effaclar A.Z Gel-Cream aims to reduce spots and post-acne marks while targeting fine lines in one step. A new addition to the award-winning Effaclar range, the A.Z Gel-Cream retails at £33 at Boots and online retailers like Cult Beauty.

It is considered an effective product to address both acne and signs of ageing concerns. If you’re already a fan of the the Effaclar range, this A.Z Gel-Cream is a must-try. You can get it here.
Jones Road The Brow Gel – £26
After the success of the grey Brow Pencil, Jones Road has added the same shade to its shape-defining Brow Gel range, which is designed to complement blonde, brown, or grey hair.
The £26 wand in taupe-grey with cool undertones promises all-day endurance. The application is straightforward – use the spoolie brush to fill, shape, and tame brows. For those who have sparse brow hair or are looking for something to even the brow colour, this grey Brow Gel could be one for you.
Customers have extolled its colour and texture: “First time ever using a brow gel, it does work wonders. Much easier and better coverage. Prefer this to the conventional pencil type.”
Another was impressed how it tamed her unruly 55-year-old brows. If you don’t like the gel texture, Benefit’s new Mighty Fine Brow Pen, £26 fills in brows with ease thanks to the three felt tips.
