Beauty fans keen to replicate Zara McDermott’s gorgeous hairstyles are in luck. The documentary maker and reality star revealed her go-to styler for curls, and it’s currently on sale on Amazon.
In a series of posts on her Instagram Stories, Zara highlighted the ghd Curve Curl Tongs. She wrote: “The only hair curlers I’m using at the moment. Obsessed. My hair is so naturally straight but using these curlers my hair stays all day.”
Thanks to the Amazon Spring Deal Days, the curl tongs are on offer for £115 from £159. Just like Zara, reviewers loved the gadget. Shoppers shared high praise for ghd’s curlers, which are available in a 26mm or 32mm size.
Someone said: “After using cheaper curlers for years, I decided to check what the hype was about. I regret not buying it earlier. Easy to use, lightweight, and holds curls for days. I love everything about it.”
A second said: “The best curlers. Wish I had invested sooner, create a lovely curl and could see the difference immediately. Heat up really quickly too.”

However, someone replied: “I bought this because I love my GHD Straighteners but wanted to curl my hair. Unfortunately I can’t get a curl that holds in using these. Going back to my Babyliss Curl Pro.” A different reviewer said: “I like these however I find that the curls don’t last long they drop a lot, I found a basic wand keeps the hair curls/ waves in a lot better.”
Meanwhile, a third shared: “I’m really upset that it doesn’t come with heat protective mat or case as I have to carry it in my hands as it takes long time to cool off. Otherwise it works great and it heats up quickly!”
