Sam and Zara share ‘joke’ reason they haven’t had kids yet

When it comes to budget-friendly fashion, Zara McDermott knows a thing or two about bagging a bargain. The presenter is often spotted wearing some ultra-chic looks from high street favourites, and her latest co-ord is no exception.

In a recent Instagram post, Zara was spotted wearing the ASOS DESIGN Knitted Maxi Skirt In Textured Stripe, £26 here, and the matching Knitted Stripe Bardot Top, £18 here, and we were blown away by how luxe and expensive looking it was. Her followers clearly agreed with us, as there were plenty of comments begging to know where they could also shop Zara’s look, saying: “Where is the 2 piece from? Love it” and “Where is the stripey co-ord from please?”

The navy and white matching set is the perfect addition to any spring wardrobe and can be styled in so many different ways, making it a great versatile buy. It’s made from a mid-weight knit that’s ideal for the transitional (and unpredictable) weather we’re having right now. It’s breezy enough to be worn on a warm spring day with just a denim jacket and sandals, whilst still being cosy enough to keep you warm when worn with a pair of boots and a bomber jacket.

As well as its navy and white striped pattern, the co-ord features plenty of details that make it look more expensive than it is. The skirt has a contrast stripe elasticated waistband for added comfort, whilst both the skirt and top have a frill hemline for an added flirty finish.

The beauty of a co-ord like this is that it can also be effortlessly mixed and matched with your existing wardrobe to create plenty of different looks. Style the top with a pair of wide leg jeans and some platform sandals for a summery 70s vibe, or wear the skirt over a bikini for the perfect holiday ‘fit.

What’s more, its chic design means you can even wear it for more formal occasions. Zara opted to style hers with a pair of strappy heels and oversized gold hoop earrings, finishing off the look with a slicked back bun that was perfect for anything from drinks with friends to a romantic dinner date.

If you’re looking for other ways to mix up the matching set, these Off White Stitch Stripe High Waist Wide Leg Trousers, £22.99 here, would pair perfectly on days when you don’t feel like wearing a skirt. You can also nab yourself a matching White Stripe Stitch Knit Jumper, £19.99 here, which has long sleeves and a classic crew neckline, making it a great choice for cooler days or more casual occasions.
