A 14-year-old boy who was shot dead on Lord Warwick Street, in Woolwich, London on Thursday, has now been named as Eghosa Ogbebor, with three teenagers arrested

A 14-year-old boy shot dead in a London street has been named and pictured.

Police have launched a murder investigation after the boy was fatally shot in Woolwich. Officers were called to reports of a shooting at approximately 3.40pm on Thursday, April 2, on Lord Warwick Street.

Paramedics rushed to the scene but could not save the boy who has now been named as 14-year-old Eghosa Ogbebor.

Met Police said: “An investigation into a fatal shooting in Woolwich continues and while a formal identification is yet to take place, the victim has been named as 14-year-old Eghosa Ogbebor. His next-of-kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.”
