‘Since adding this to my daily routine, I’ve noticed a real difference in fatigue levels.’
Electrolytes were previously considered to be exclusive to athletes, but have quickly become one of the biggest wellness trends of 2026, with more people looking for ways to stay energised and hydrated throughout busy days. And one brand that shoppers have said they’re ‘obsessed with’ and ‘makes staying hydrated easy’ is currently on offer for a limited time.
As the ‘average Joe’ seeks to improve their wellness in small, simple ways, electrolyte drinks and powders are now being added to daily routines by office workers, gym-goers and anyone who finds themselves feeling tired or sluggish despite drinking plenty of water. That feeling can often be because, when sweating, the body loses minerals such as sodium, potassium and magnesium.
Drinking water replaces the fluid, but not the minerals, which is why some people still experience fatigue, headaches, dizziness or muscle cramps even when they’re drinking plenty. The idea is to help replace the essential minerals your body loses through sweat with electrolytes, which is said to maintain fluid balance, muscle function and energy levels.
Water Wealth by the brand Gut Wealth is an electrolyte powder that’s designed to make daily hydration easier and more effective. The summer fruits-flavoured powder comes in a 150g pouch with 30 servings, with a scoop included so users can easily mix one portion into 500ml of water.
Each serving provides electrolytes including sodium, potassium and magnesium to support hydration and muscle function, alongside vitamins B12 and C which help reduce tiredness and fatigue. And at £29.99 for 30 servings, it works out just under £1 per serving.

A refreshing daily electrolyte drink with added vitamin B12 and vitamin C to support hydration, energy and everyday feel-good levels.
But to celebrate Hydration Week, which runs from March 16 to March 22, the brand is offering a limited promotion where the first 400 customers can buy one, get one free, with free UK postage. The offer means a serving works out at around 49p, making it an accessible way for shoppers to try the hydration trend for themselves
The formula contains no added sugar or artificial sweeteners, and is designed to fit easily into everyday routines whether that’s a morning workout, a mid-afternoon energy dip or simply staying on top of hydration during busy days.
Electrolyte support has also grown in popularity as more people take part in endurance and high-intensity activities, with sports such as Hyrox racing, marathon training, padel and strength training becoming increasingly mainstream. But it isn’t only athletes who may benefit from paying closer attention to electrolyte intake.
Sweating can increase for a variety of everyday reasons including stress, commuting, hormonal changes, pregnancy or illness, meaning hydration needs can vary far more than many people realise. For that reason, brands like Water Wealth come in extremely handy.
For those curious about trying electrolyte drinks but wanting to explore other options, there are a number of alternatives on the market. Boots launched their own brand of electrolytes this year and have become a personal favourite for myself. Their Wellthy electrolytes come in four flavours, though the sour cherry and pomegranate are my go-to. They come in pre-portioned sachets which make them great for on-the-go and cost £7 for 12, which is about 58p per serving – more expensive than Water Wealth.
Another brand famed for their tasty flavours is Humantra. Shoppers can get 30 sachets of their limited edition Mango flavour for £42, working out at 71p per serving. While more expensive, there’s a wider range of flavours to choose from, while Water Wealth has just the one at present.
Shoppers who have already tried Water Wealth say the product has made a noticeable difference to their energy levels and daily hydration habits. One reviewer, Vic, said: “Since adding this to my daily routine, I’ve noticed a real difference in fatigue levels.”
Another customer, Ali, added: “By the end of the day, I’m still feeling energised and don’t seem to have that late-afternoon dip I was experiencing before.”
Many reviews also highlight the flavour , which can often be a barrier to enjoying electrolyte drinks. One wrote: “Really impressed with this electrolyte mix! The summer fruit flavour is refreshing without being too sweet, and it makes staying hydrated easy. I’ve noticed it helps reduce my tiredness, especially on busy days.”
There has been some feedback around the packaging though, with one customer commenting: “Please make the packet wider or provide a longer handled scoop. I won’t buy more if it’s not changed.” Water Wealth listened to customers and have since updated the scoop to have a longer handle.
But generally, shoppers have been thrilled with their purchase, with another adding: “Obsessed! The Rehydration I’ve Been Searching For. I’m absolutely obsessed with my Water Wealth! I’ve been on the hunt for a better-tasting rehydration solution – and bam, this is it. Can’t recommend it enough.”
