The dress was £34 but thanks to a 80% off reduction, it is now less than £7 and one shopper says it is ‘definitely worth getting’
A woman has heaped praise on a ‘stunning’ dress from Pretty Little Thing that she says is “worth every penny”. Fashion fans and bargain-hunters will be pleased to know that the maxi dress has now been reduced in price – with 80% off.
Shoppers can now get the brand’s Multi Watercolour Plisse Strappy Maxi Dress for only £6.75. Before the discount, it would have cost customers £34.
Taking to popular Facebook group, Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, the woman, who goes by the name Laura Jane, uploaded a picture of her wearing the dress while she was pregnant. In the caption she said: “£6.75 on the PLT website, I wore when I was pregnant on holiday but pic for reference! Worth every penny, I loved it!”
Her post includes a picture of her wearing the dress next to a screenshot of the frock on Pretty Little Thing’s website, showing the 80% reduction. It didn’t take long for the post to become a huge hit with fellow group members.
So far, more than 1.3k people have liked the post and hundreds have shared their thoughts in the comment section. Jade replied: “I got the blue purple one for my gender reveal such brill dresses.” Sky shared: “I’ve got this and wore it to a wedding in Greece, it’s lush.”
Stacy said: “What a great pic you look stunning.” Sophie added: “You look amazing!” Shan penned: “That’s a bargain! You look stunning too.” Rosanne admitted: “You look beautiful in it! I’d buy it going off your image.”
However, Shay pointed out: “It looks lovely on you! But notice how the patterns are a tad diff to the photo on the website?” Laura Jane responded to say: “I suppose it won’t all be the same cut of fabric, but same dress overall.”
At the time of writing, the dress is still in stock, in all sizes – which range from a UK four to 16. However, according to Pretty Little Thing, the gown has already been bought 1,058 times today and the 80% off discount is only for a “limited time”.
