Desperate attempts to rescue people pulled out to sea off the beach at Withernsea have been described by a local café owner
The owner of a café has shared how the shop’s CCTV filmed the horrifying moment a young girl was washed out to sea before a fatal attempt to rescue her.
Paul Whitehead, owner of the Castle Café Withernsea’s seafront, said he had shared the clip with police searching for a third person who is missing after the girl was “washed away”.
