Now, the popular Dyson Hot + Cool Fan Heater is up for grabs for £289.99, down from £399.99, at Argos – making it £110 cheaper than the Dyson price.
The fan promises ‘comfortable heating and cooling all year round’ – so it’s not just useful for the heatwave. Thanks to patented air multiplier technology, it also offers ‘smooth, powerful air projection.’
Noise is a common complaint with fans, but that’s not an issue with this Dyson model – Argos says it’s the first fan heater with Quiet Mark accreditation. Plus, it’s safe to use around children as it doesn’t have fast-spinning blades.

It offers 10 heat settings to choose from, oscillates to 90 degrees and is thermostatically controlled. It is suitable for rooms up to 45m², and it is remote-controlled.
As an alternative, Currys has the Duux Whisper 2 Pedestal Fan for £109. This one has 26 speeds and runs at just 13dB, meaning it is perfect to have on when working or sleeping.

Dunelm has the Russell Hobbs Premium Tower Fan for £59 too. Available in both white and black, it offers three speed settings, two modes (sleep air or gentle air) and can be remotely controlled.
