Mikel Arteta’s Premier League leaders face last season’s Champions League runner-up at the San Siro.

Arsenal continue their UEFA Champions League campaign tonight as they face Inter Milan. Mikel Arteta’s side are in Italy for their penultimate League Phase clash at the San Siro against last season’s runner-up.

Arsenal are enjoying a flawless campaign in Europe which’s put them top of the table going into the game with six wins from six. They remain in all four competitions this season, sitting seven points clear at the top of the Premier League alongside their ongoing FA Cup and Carabao Cup campaigns.

However, the Gunners missed the opportunity to go nine points clear in the Premier League when they were held to a 0-0 draw by Nottingham Forest on Saturday. Ahead of the game, Arteta said his team is ‘building very good momentum’ on their way to a potential quadruple.

Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: “We are building very good momentum and belief comes from performances and the level of consistency that we have shown throughout 32 games already this season. It should help us to be very convinced that we have the ability to do that, but the reality is that you have to show it in every game and there’s still so much to happen, but we are glad that we are still alive in the four competitions.”

However, their Italian opponents are also on an impressive run of form, with Cristian Chivu’s men leading Serie A, ahead of local rivals AC Milan by three points. In the Champions League, they sit sixth with 12 points and on the brink of automatic qualification.

Should they progress to the knockout stages, Inter will be hoping to go one step further this time around following their 5-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in last season’s final. Unlike the majority of Champions League fixtures, tonight’s game won’t be broadcast on TNT Sports, but there is a way to watch the game absolutely free.
