With Amazon hinting that an online spring sale could be on the horizon, here’s everything we know so far about the shopping event – including ways to save money already

Amazon is one of our go-to places to shop for everything from home appliances and gadgets to beauty bargains and booze, and we’ve heard rumours that a huge spring sale is coming to the site soon, making it the perfect time to shop for essentials, treats and gifts.

While Amazon haven’t yet confirmed when – or indeed if – a sale will be happening in spring 2025, the last few years have seen a big shopping event around this time, with hundreds of products slashed in price. Sometimes called Amazon Spring Deal Days or Amazon Spring Sale, it could be a great chance to save money on some things you’ve been eyeing up.

If you can’t wait, however, we’ve found loads of great deals already live on Amazon. Here’s how to save now, and what to expect from the spring sale…

When is the Amazon Spring Sale 2025?

Amazon hasn’t yet announced exactly when its spring sale will start, or how long it will last for, so keep checking back here for further updates. We think that if it does happen it’s likely to drop in mid-to-late March though (last year’s ran from 20-25 March).

Fancy free takeaway delivery? Access to Deliveroo Plus is one of a host of advantages of Amazon Prime membership, including exclusive Prime Day discounts and perks on Hello Fresh, music, books and Prime Video. Usually £8.99 a month, you can now get a 30-day free trial to get access to the latest deals.

What will be included in the Amazon Spring Sale?

As the sale hasn’t yet been confirmed, we can’t say what products will be slashed in price yet, but expect a good mix of tech, household essentials, fashion and beauty. In previous sale we’ve seen Apple Airpods reduced (something that rarely happens), expensive hair tools like ghd straighteners with money off, and designer perfumes with huge reductions.

How to get the best deals in the Amazon Spring Sale

Here at The Mirror we bring you all the top offers as soon as we spot them drop, so keep an eye on our shopping section for the best Amazon deals.

You can also get ahead by creating an Amazon wish list, then shopping from it as soon as any sales start. (Remember though that prices can go up and down, and your favourite item may also sell out.)

Also don’t forget to shop around at other sites before clicking through to the checkout; retailers such as Yimbly and Debenhams often sell items cheaper than Amazon, while Boots’ £10 Tuesday deals are great for beauty bargains.

Do I need to be an Amazon Prime member to shop the deals?

No – unlike the popular Amazon Prime Day shopping events, Amazon has confirmed that you don’t need to be a Prime member to access these sale prices.

Signing up to Amazon Prime, however, does get you lots of benefits, including free next-day delivery on thousands of items, the Prime Video streaming service, and access to members-only sales. If you’re not already a member, you can sign up here for a 30-day free trial.
