All the branches will open for four hours from 11am to 3pm on December 25 – but while you’ll still be able to order your favourite tipple, they won’t be serving any food. It means you won’t be able to feast on anything from its festive venue if you’re planning a visit on Christmas Day. Wetherspoon has 797 pubs, so it means 133 will remain closed on the big day.
The pub chain has just brought back its turkey dinner, as part of its Christmas menu, which comes with four slices of turkey breast with a pork, apricot and cranberry stuffing, roasted carrots and parsnips, mash, two pigs in blankets, peas, cranberry sauce and gravy. This is priced at £11.99 with a soft drink, or £13.52 with an alcoholic drink.
