A 33-year-old man was found injured at the Wemyss Bay Holiday Park in Inverclyde, Scotland during the early hours of the morning, and two people were arrested after an alleged assault
A man has died after being found injured at a holiday park in Scotland.
Emergency services raced to Rothesay Gardens at Wemyss Bay Holiday Park in Inverclyde, after receiving reports of a man being found injured shortly after midnight on Sunday morning.
Crews attended and the man, aged 33, was pronounced dead at the scene. A 21-year-old man and 28-year-old woman were arrested in connection with an alleged assault.
Police say inquiries into the death are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson told Glasgow Live: “Around 12.05am on Sunday, 14 September, 2025, officers were called to a report of a man having been injured on Rothesay Gardens, Wemyss Bay.
“Emergency services attended, and a 33-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“A 21-year-old man and 28-year-old woman have been arrested in connection with assault and enquiries are ongoing.”
A spokesperson for Wemyss Bay Holiday Park said: “We are working to support police with their investigations after an isolated incident. As those investigations are ongoing, we can’t comment further.”
