TikTok couple Nathan and Grace recently visited one of the biggest car boot sales in the UK to see what they could bag for £10

Brits love a bargain – perhaps that’s why car boot sales are still so popular.

The events have been held across the country for years, and they’re still going strong. Perhaps because people can bag a lot for very little money.

TikTok couple Nathan and Grace recently visited one of the biggest boot sales in the UK to see what they could snap up for only £10. The pair, known for creating viral videos on the platform, were super honest about what they managed to get their hands on.

They paid £5 to get into the event, which was hosted in Seaham. They didn’t include the entry fee in their budget, but admitted it was “so busy” when they arrived.

To begin, they showed a variety of bags that were available to buy, and Grace purchased a passport holder for £2. They then went onto reveal what else was on offer, which included “brand new” heated rollers.

Grace could have bagged them for £10, but she was out of budget by then. Still, it’s a pretty good deal for what’s otherwise an expensive product.

She said: “It’s 10.45am in the morning, and there are literally still people setting up. This car boot sale is massive.”

The couple later come across some football Croc charms and snapped one up for only £1. If you like accessorising your Crocs then it appears to be a good bargain.

She also snapped up a bucket hat for £5, which they thought was a great steal. The final purchases were a set of tiki cups and a jigsaw puzzle, which they bought for £1 each.

In the clip, Nathan said they managed to get “a lot of things” for £10, and there was so much more on offer. From dart boards to a hammock to wine holders – there were such a wide variety of goods on sale.

The couple also pointed out that the queue got really long to get in by midday. This is because the price to enter the site after 12pm drops to £1.

Since it was shared, the video has been viewed thousands of times, and people were quick to comment too. Some admitted the place is “amazing”.

One person said: “Stop. I paid £50 for the same nested rollers, OMG. They’re so good though.” Another added: “I really wanna go here. All those Croc charms.”

A third replied: “Seaham Car Boot is the best.” Meanwhile, a fourth also commented: “Seaham is mint. I go every Sunday.”
