This one is usually available in both regular and petite fits, but petite is currently sold out. It comes in sizes six to 26 and features a scoop neckline.
Another option is the Light Yellow Button Through Tea Midi Dress for £24 down from £34.99 on New Look. This midi-style dress comes in an on-trend butter yellow colour, has playful polka dots and a bow fastening at the V-neck.
The WIHOLL Summer Dress has been rated highly on Amazon, with one happy shopper saying: “I’m 5’ 2” and this dress is perfect. A very comfortable, nice quality knit fabric that isn’t too hot for FL heat and humidity for most of the year. Covers bra straps, fits the underarm correctly, without binding or being too low.
“I like the shaped hem, which isn’t cut too high at the sides. I do wear an 18” half slip but it’s not very see through, possibly not at all in the dark colours. I have four of these. I liked them so much. I do have a bit of a derrière as well as a tummy, this glides over them and doesn’t cling in awkward places.”
Another added: “Ordered yesterday, just popped through the door today. Tried it on straight away and I’m over the moon with it, lovely fabric, flattering fit – size is great. I’m now having a look to get one in another colour, however there’s not such a huge choice as I’d like, so it may have to be black!”
