If you have purchased this affected product, you should return it to your nearest store for a full refund – and you don’t need a receipt to get your money back

A popular convenience store chain has recalled packs of crisps over fears they could cause allergic reactions.

One Stop Mature Cheddar & Red Onion Hand Cooked Crisps have been pulled from shelves because they contain milk which is not mentioned on the label.

This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk. The most common symptoms of milk intolerance include tummy pain, diarrhoea or constipation, or feeling sick.

The packs that have been recalled have the best before dates of February 17, 2026, February 18, 2026, and February 23, 2026. All other best before dates are safe to eat.

In a recall notice published online, One Stop said: “We are recalling three date codes of One Stop Mature Cheddar & Red Onion Hand Cooked Crisps 150g as they may contain milk which is not declared on the label.”

The retailer continued: “Do not consume. Please return the affected products to store where a full refund will be given. No receipt is required.

“One Stop apologises to our customers for any inconvenience caused. If you require further details, please contact customer services directly on: UK 01543 363 133.”

For all product recalls, you can check the Food Standards Agency (FSA) and Chartered Trading Standards (CTS) Institute websites. You should also notice recall notices in stores if they’ve pulled a product from shelves.

The FSA has also put out the following warning: “If you have bought the above product and have an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents do not eat it.

“Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund. For further details, please contact customer services on 01543 363 133.”

It comes after Waitrose recalled its Waitrose Indian Takeaway for two because some packs have been mispacked with spring rolls, which contain sesame and soya, and these allergens are not mentioned on the label.

Allergic reactions to sesame or soya can range from skin reactions to the swelling of the lips or face, or vomiting and diarrhea. The pack size that has been recalled is 1412g and the use by date is July 25, 2025.

Wall’s recalled two products over fears they are contaminated by salmonella. Salmonella can cause fever, diarrhoea and abdominal cramps.

The affected products are 113g packs of Wall’s The Classic Scotch Egg with a use by date of July 2, and 226g packs of Wall’s Two Classic Scotch Eggs, also with the same use by date.
