For just £57, you can bag yourself a range of Rodial’s cult products – including its eye cream, oil drops and lipstick.

We’re officially into bargain beauty bundles season, which is great news if you’re looking to treat yourself or someone you love to a cosmetics set at a brilliant price. The Ultimate Rodial Beauty Discovery Kit is one such set, available at £57 but worth a whopping £243.

Inside, you’ll find Rodial’s very own Snake Eye Cream, Snake Oil Drops, Snake Jelly Eye Patches, Lash & Brow Booster, Retinol Drops, Suede Lips, a pencil sharpener, a muslin cloth, and a large clear bag for somewhere to store it all. There are practically all the essentials you need to look and feel your best as we approach party season.

Founded in 1999 by former beauty editor Maria Hatzistefanis, Rodial’s 25-year history is packed with innovative beauty products making use of lesser-known ingredients. It’s not just a gimmick, either — the brand’s goal is to deliver immediate and long-lasting effects, and customer testimonials and reputation suggest it very often meets it.

But first to the Beauty Discovery Kit, designed as the ideal opportunity to get to know Rodial and its innovative products. To put these products in the context of a beauty routine, Rodial recommends starting with your favourite cleanser before removing impurities with the exfoliating muslin cloth. Follow this with the Lash & Brow Booster, allowing your skin to absorb it before applying the Snake Eye Cream. If your eyes are a little puffy, Rodial recommends using the Snake Jelly Eye Patches instead for instant rejuvenation.

In the morning, Rodial recommends applying its Snake Oil Drops to your face whilst avoiding the eye area, and in the evening apply the Retinol Drops to boost skin cell production overnight. If you’re heading out, the Suede Lips lipstick in Black Cherry is a lovely, versatile colour for those finishing touches.

There are only two reviews for the set on the website, but it’s telling that they’re both five stars. One review focused on the Snake Eye Cream, itself worth £80 when bought on its own, calling it a “miracle”. “The eye cream in this set is marvellous, saw a difference in two days,” they said.

The Snake Oil Drops has 4.3 stars from six reviews, with another customer saying it “really works, absorbs very quickly. I pay attention to expression lines, it truly makes a difference. Very impressed, and I have sensitive dry skin.”

Over on TrustPilot, Rodial has racked up an impressive 4.4 stars from nearly 500 reviews. Another happy customer said: “I really LOVE Rodial products, and in particular the lip liners – they are outstanding, the best ever. So comfortable to wear, not drying and some kind of sorcery stay put.”

However, some customers had some gripes to share. One said about the packaging: “Unfortunately the security stickers were almost impossible to get off and left large sticky residues. Surely I shouldn’t need to de-glue with soap and scrubber before using the products? A user friendlier non glue label would be helpful.”

While another wrote: “Lovely foundation and super quick delivery. However after using the Rodial shade finder it suggested a shade called milkshake. I ordered it but when it arrived, it didn’t suit my undertone at all” – which highlights how personal something like make-up can be.

If you’re interested in other beauty bundles, the Bondi Sands Clearer Skin Bundle is just £33 (reduced from £47) but focuses solely on skincare. Alternatively, Beauty Bay’s Birthday Box is £50 (worth £149) and comes in a lovely presentation box. That said, at 75% off the cost of these Rodial products, now’s the ideal time to take the plunge on your next favourite skincare brand.
