Fashion fans are racing to Uniqlo to snap up a discounted turtle neck jumper that’s been described by shoppers as a ‘must-have’ for winter – and the stormy weather we’re set to have. The Merino Ribbed Turtleneck Jumper usually retails at £29.90 but for a limited time it is priced at £24.90.
Coming in 12 different colours, from neutral black, white and browns to more colourful blues, pinks and yellow, the turtleneck jumper is also available in a large range of sizes from XXS to XXL. Made from ultra-fine 100% Merino wool, the jumper is undoubtedly warm with a sleek look, making it great for wearing at home or the office.

Those who have snapped up the 4.6 star rated jumper are singing its praises with people calling it the ‘perfect’ staple piece during the colder months. One fashion fan said: “I love how comfortable it is to wear and I have the sweater in three colours. It’s my favourite piece of clothing under blazers in winter.”
Echoing the sentiment, another hailed: “Warm and elegant, the basic you must have in your wardrobe!”
A third fan of the jumper raved: “I have it in every colour and even a repeat of black and brown. It’s the perfect garment when the temperature drops. I wear it without anything underneath, over a thermal shirt, with a coat on top and then with a trench coat. Always elegant. Comfortable. Easy to wash.”

While most people loved the design of this simple but effective jumper, some found the turtleneck to be a little too long for their liking. One said: “A nice sweater in itself but the turtleneck is much too long even when folded over, so it’s being returned.”
Others found the white iteration of the jumper to be a little too thin, with one stating: “I bought the white one and the only drawback is that it shows through your bra or whatever you are wearing underneath.”
